How are external Delivery Companies represented as accounts?

External Delivery Companies are third-party logistics partners registered in the system. Each is recorded with its contact details and, where available, its API connection (base URL and key) so orders can be passed to it automatically; companies without an API are marked manual, and orders are handed to them by updating status on the system from their feedback. External Delivery Companies are third-party logistics partners registered in the system. Each is recorded with its contact details and, where available, its API connection (base URL and key) so orders can be passed to it automatically; companies without an API are marked manual, and orders are handed to them by updating status on the system from their feedback. Out-of-zone orders (or other defined cases) route to a registered company automatically or manually, and information flows back into Okommerce either via the API or by manual update. So an external company is less a "login" and more a configured integration/partner record that the delivery routing can target.
